We are examining the big picture of online pharmacies: the good, the bad, the great, the naughty, and the completely fraudulent.
We are gathering stories of experiences that customers have had with getting their drugs and medications cheaply and safely, as well as times where customers have been ripped off or received something unsafe or ineffective.
It's a great big sea of IPs and URLs out there, and there's no one clear map that is telling Americans what is legal, safe, or reasonable.
We're also interested in hearing from the medical community.
Is tele-prescribing the next step in the doctor-patient dynamic, or is it inherently unsafe? Have you been approached to write or approve prescriptions for patients you've never seen? Is it a serious problem to prescribe any and all drugs without a face-to-face meeting, or is it really crucial to have a physical appointment for just a few classes of drugs?
We'd also like to hear from online sellers and marketers ("affiliates"). Are you trying to run a business and new enforcements laws are making it tough? Do you welcome the new burst of activity from the DEA. Were you in the game, but got out? Tells us what's really up.
Who are we missing?
Is the growing online pharmacy industry cutting into mom and pop or even physical chain pharmacies? Is overseas shipping of generics stifling R&D at drug companies?
