What do you have to do to get onto a do-not-call list? As seen on The Consumerist, one Californian was being pestered by online pharmacy telemarketers who wouldn't stop calling. He started having fun with them, asking for generic meth, catnip, and hemorrhoid cream.
He informed one of the callers, "Brad Williams" from The Bronx (646-216-8388 ! You gave me a wrong number!), after about 11 minutes of toying with him, that he was recording the calls for putting up on the Internet. Brad was not impressed. Listen to the calls. Favourite line: "Honey, can I have $400 to buy some drugs?" |
