Online pharmacies are run in "networks," which basically means that a whole bunch of web addresses (or URLs) point back to the same online shopping engine, and the same distributors.

The other day I found a humorous press release for an online pharmacy site -- humorous because the translation into English was nonsensical at times -- and I decided to try and see who was behind it.

Here's the "press release:" Get served with most relied pharmacies.

It's apparently written by someone named Mohan, with an address in India, who spends 513 words to say that online pharmacies are just the next global trend, and oh, by the way, buy drugs from Canadian ones, and specifically 24x7pharmacy.com. The gems are hidden near the bottom. My favourite quotation comes after Mohan warns that some E-pharmacies are rip-offs, but this one is genuine:

We have the responsibility to guard your health against all major and minor diseases with our protective instinct to serve human kind with flying difference.

He also hints at the problems of addiction:

It works 24/7 and you can form habit of buying online.

So I visit the 24x7pharmacy site to see if this outfit is indeed Canadian. There are few hints, and no physical address (a bad sign according to outfits such as LegitScript, though LegitScript warns against all Canadian pharmacies, period.)

networkpost24x7

The pharmacy site posts two phone numbers though: 877-491-1851 and 432-296-4697. I couldn't figure out who owns the 877 number, but the 432 area code appears to be from Texas. That's fine; companies outsource calling centers all the time.
